The device's objective is to capture MIDI input, creating a sequence that loops immediately. For instance, it will play eight notes, and the IMS (Instrumental Music Sequencer) will instantly initiate the looping process.

There's two versions of the device, one is made for Ableton 12 using new array object, and one is for Ableton 11 using standard zl object.
